Another very popular recreational asset is the recently constructed Ashuwillticook Rail Trail which runs through the towns of Lanesborough, Cheshire, and Adams. Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts, is partially situated in Lanesborough. Rockwell Road provides the main access to the summit.
